An occasion of having a panel discussion on autism and raising the awareness in the global communities about autism in Africa , to help change and improve the lives of people living with autism. In Africa , the plight of people with autism is even bigger, because the challenges associated with autism are further exacerbated with, when they are combined with poverty , since there is no proper diagnosis or proper services.

There is a need for collaboration and cooperation between countries with more advanced services for people with autism and countries in which these services are less advanced or non-existent in order to share the experience
and knowledge , increase awareness , reduce negative opinions and stigmas , strengthen capacities and help with allocation of financial support to provide proper diagnosis and early intervention treatments to children with autism all over the world.
